The Museum of Scott County hosts the Heritage Festival on the last Saturday of each September. The museum, located on the campus of Scott High School, is America’s only museum to be designed, built and curated by students. It is situated on three acres on the school’s campus, and includes a museum of natural history, a USS Tennessee Battleship museum, a frontier village and a hands-on natural science museum. The festival includes many demonstrations from the frontier era, arts and crafts, live entertainment and much more.
